A few new blogs
009 blogs kits model-railways narrow-gaugeAs it’s been over a month since my last update, I thought I would post something just to give a blip on the heart monitor. With Christmas and various family issues over recent weeks my modelling time has been limited of late but some quite exciting projects are building up for 2010. So, in place of real content from me, here are some new blogs that have popped up recently.
- Colin Lea, who has now almost finished his OO9 layout of Rhyd-Ddu on the modern Welsh Highland Railway, has started work on a 16mm scale garden railway and has set up a new blog to cover it.
- My friend Rob has begun to collect his thoughts and plans for an OO9 modular layout inspired by the Bowaters (Sittingbourne & Kemsley) system in its industrial days. He is also a talented model painter and has a separate blog to cover this more diverse work.
- And finally Neil Moss has set up a blog “primarily about railway modelling“, but his interests also cover World War 1 military modelling and model boats. He is also an OO9 modeller and has so far covered a collection of Simplex locos and the new etched Pechot wagon kit he has designed for Meridian Models.
