I love Google Streetview. As a time-wasting device it’s almost second to none. When it launched in the UK last year only major cities were covered but now they have rolled out coverage of around 96% of the country. Which means there’s a chance of seeing some narrow gauge trains passing by as you navigate nearby roads.

Case in point is the A4085 alongside the Welsh Highland Railway.
