I love Google Streetview. As a time-wasting device it’s almost second to none. When it launched in the UK last year only major cities were covered but now they have rolled out coverage of around 96% of the country. Which means there’s a chance of seeing some narrow gauge trains passing by as you navigate nearby roads.
Case in point is the A4085 alongside the Welsh Highland Railway.[View Larger Map](http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&source=embed&q=rhyd+ddu&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Rhyd+Ddu,+Caernarfon,+United+Kingdom&t=h&layer=c&cbll=53.072316,-4.142206&panoid=eFGefoqeIh_1C8cHhUXzfg&cbp=12,7.92,,0,-5.02&ll=53.072307,-4.142192&spn=0,359.996537&z=19)
Thanks to Colin Lea for spotting it!
PS Or how about Monarch (2′ 6″) at Welshpool.
